![]() I just sent them a mock cover for issue 2. ![]() Piskor: Who knows, man, but I just had a conversation, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to fully go public with this. That's the thing with certain friends of ours, they're so calculated, man, and I'm nervous to think that they think I'm as calculated as that. I'm not looking for parts of the market that haven't been tapped yet or some kind of bullshit like that, man. I just want to do comics that I want to do. It's not a calculated decision on my part. So you take comics imagery and stick it with peoples' favorite subjects, man, and that becomes a really inviting waste of time for them. The big thing with comics imagery is that it's so inviting to look at, it could stop you in your tracks if you're looking at just any old regular magazine and you come across a Mark Zingarelli ad for Altoids, you stop dead in your tracks and you'll stick with it for a few extra seconds. I think that people appreciate that the time is being put in on such a real project and it has a kitsch value to it. Piskor: Well, first of all, I don't know that that isn't the case somewhere. ![]()
